Summary

Join Greta and Minette once more for the heartwarming conclusion of the award-winning Tea Dragon series!

Over a year since being entrusted with Ginseng's care, Greta still can't chase away the cloud of mourning that hangs over the timid Tea Dragon。 As she struggles to create something spectacular enough to impress a master blacksmith in search of an apprentice, she questions the true meaning of crafting, and the true meaning of caring for someone in grief。 Meanwhile, Minette receives a surprise package from the monastery where she was once training to be a prophetess。 Thrown into confusion about her path in life, the shy and reserved Minette finds that the more she opens her heart to others, the more clearly she can see what was always inside。

Told with the same care and charm as the previous installments of the Tea Dragon series, The Tea Dragon Tapestry welcomes old friends and new into a heartfelt story of purpose, love, and growth。

This followed a little too many separate character stories for my taste, but still a cute story that I'm glad I read。 This followed a little too many separate character stories for my taste, but still a cute story that I'm glad I read。 。。。more

It's been over a year since Greta was entrusted with Ginseng's care, but she can't seem to clear away the cloud of mourning over the small Tea Dragon, on top of that, she's struggling with figuring out what to create that's spectacular enough to impress a master blacksmith who is in search of an apprentice。 Meanwhile, Minette receives a package from the monastery where she was once training to be a prophetess and it brings about a strange dream she can't quite figure out。 But the more she opens It's been over a year since Greta was entrusted with Ginseng's care, but she can't seem to clear away the cloud of mourning over the small Tea Dragon, on top of that, she's struggling with figuring out what to create that's spectacular enough to impress a master blacksmith who is in search of an apprentice。 Meanwhile, Minette receives a package from the monastery where she was once training to be a prophetess and it brings about a strange dream she can't quite figure out。 But the more she opens her heart, the clearer she can see what's inside。"Everything that happens is part of your wholeness。 The sadness, the loss, the hurt, as well as the joy, the love, the friendship--it is all part of your tapestry。"I've just loved The Tea Dragon series since reading the first one。 I've been waiting for the third book for what feels like forever and I'm so excited to have it in my hands and to have read it。I absolutely adore Kay O'Neill's drawings, they're so beautiful and calming and make such a wonderful world。 These stories are always so uplifting as well。The representation is in itself a wonderfully beautiful list。 Queer relationship ships, characters of color, disability representation, different body shapes and types。 All the characters are very honest and open with one another and as understanding as can be。I highly recommend this series to anyone who wants a feel good, cute book。 It's aimed toward children, but honestly, I feel like all could find enjoyment in these panels of this graphic novel series。 。。。more

Loved this beautiful story。 Kay's art is so charming and beautiful, it makes me feel like coming home。 Their stories are also so full of heart and kindness。This is the third in the popular tea dragon series, and it shows the girls at a bit of a crossroads in their lives。 Starting to grow up, trying to decide where they want to go and who they want to be。。。 This is a story about hope for the future。 It's a story about grief。 It's a story about finding where you belong。 I loved it。 I hope little G Loved this beautiful story。 Kay's art is so charming and beautiful, it makes me feel like coming home。 Their stories are also so full of heart and kindness。This is the third in the popular tea dragon series, and it shows the girls at a bit of a crossroads in their lives。 Starting to grow up, trying to decide where they want to go and who they want to be。。。 This is a story about hope for the future。 It's a story about grief。 It's a story about finding where you belong。 I loved it。 I hope little Ginseng feels better soon, I know too well that grief is a complicated thing。 ❤️ 。。。more

The Tea Dragon series is gentle fantasy aimed at middle schoolers, and it definitely hits its mark。 But readers looking for something a little more challenging may be disappointed by what they find here。

This was so cute and the illustrations are just beautiful。 Just as lovely as the others in the series。 And tea dragons are just so enchanting。 I would love these books for my collection。 Wonderful。

Amazing that a book that only took 30 minutes to read could make me cry like that。 So so good。

I haven't read the other two, so I felt a bit lost about who the characters were。 Aside from that, it's just a stunning book to look at。 I haven't read the other two, so I felt a bit lost about who the characters were。 Aside from that, it's just a stunning book to look at。 。。。more

With the entire gang together, Minette and Greta do their best to forge their own life paths to the best of their abilities no matter how different it may seem from what they originally had in mind。As far as stories in this series that have resonated with me, its definitely this one。 The idea of a visual novel talking about the struggle of trying to achieve the life you've envisioned for yourself only to fall short is such a realistic topic that I haven't quite seen in any other books。 I like th With the entire gang together, Minette and Greta do their best to forge their own life paths to the best of their abilities no matter how different it may seem from what they originally had in mind。As far as stories in this series that have resonated with me, its definitely this one。 The idea of a visual novel talking about the struggle of trying to achieve the life you've envisioned for yourself only to fall short is such a realistic topic that I haven't quite seen in any other books。 I like the difference too in our main characters, one on the path that she had always imagined and the other struggling to accept that the place they are now is different from what she had worked for。I feel like it's a heavy subject that was tackled pretty well。 Accompanied by the smaller subjects of dealing with grief and of expanding your horizons, this was definitely a treat。I'm sad to part with the characters, but I'm very glad with their conclusion。 One of the best visual novels I've read thus far。 Definitely recommend。 。。。more

I have loved all of the Tea Dragon books and this one is no exception。 It was nice to see all of the characters from the first two installments again。 I really enjoyed reading it and the art is absolutly gorgeous。

Ahh, this is sweet and soft and kind, a wonderful conclusion to this world and this story。 As always, every single page and every single panel could be a print I'd hang on my wall, and it's full of gentleness and queer found family。 I did notice in this one that it seemed as if all the problems ended up resolved by just receiving some advice more than through the characters coming to breakthroughs on their own -- but I can't mind it, because sometimes that kind of quiet change needs to be shown Ahh, this is sweet and soft and kind, a wonderful conclusion to this world and this story。 As always, every single page and every single panel could be a print I'd hang on my wall, and it's full of gentleness and queer found family。 I did notice in this one that it seemed as if all the problems ended up resolved by just receiving some advice more than through the characters coming to breakthroughs on their own -- but I can't mind it, because sometimes that kind of quiet change needs to be shown too。 。。。more

I have to admit that it’s a pretty illustration, each characters and the details of it。 All is so pretty and I know how much time the author has spent to produce it。 I will rate the art style for 5/5 stars, but unfortunately I’m not very fond of the storyline, it kinda lacks of chemistry that I could not really ‘fall in love’ with it。 But overall, yeah it’s really pretty。

Nevěřila jsem, že to kdy řeknu, ale tahle komiksová série je ještě lepší než Heartstopper。

This is the final installment of the Tea Dragon series, although I could read one hundred of these cozy heartwarming stories。 This one brings together the characters of both previous books, as Rinn and Aedhan from book 2 come to visit Erik and Hesekiel at their tea shop, meeting Greta and Minette。 The plot challenges focus mainly on Greta as she struggles to help her new tea dragon Ginseng through its grief for its previous owner。 She also is working to forge an impressive piece of blacksmithing This is the final installment of the Tea Dragon series, although I could read one hundred of these cozy heartwarming stories。 This one brings together the characters of both previous books, as Rinn and Aedhan from book 2 come to visit Erik and Hesekiel at their tea shop, meeting Greta and Minette。 The plot challenges focus mainly on Greta as she struggles to help her new tea dragon Ginseng through its grief for its previous owner。 She also is working to forge an impressive piece of blacksmithing to prove her worth as a potential apprentice to a visiting master blacksmith named Kleitos。 Meanwhile, Minette receives a package from home that contains a small tapestry she embroidered during her days as a priestess。 It depicts an otherworldly deer-like creature that her people revere as The Ancestor, and reminds her of the life she left behind when her memories abandoned her。 However, she eventually realizes that she can reclaim this tapestry by adding on new images from her life here with Greta, Erik, Hesekiel, and their tea dragons。 The end of the book does not contain illustrations of new tea dragons like the last two books did。 Rather, it contains slightly long-form explanations of how the first tea dragons evolved in this world, tea dragon biology, tea dragon varieties, life with tea dragons, and the origins of the tea dragon societies。 I would like to learn more about Sylkes in O'Neill's world。 Hesekiel, with his distinctly nonhuman traits, is described as a Sylke, and the back of the book explains that his people were the first to study and domesticate tea dragons。 Maybe O'Neill will do a future story focusing on that。 。。。more

Los tres volúmenes cada uno mejor que el otro。 Amé todo, pero especialmente amé como se trata el duelo en este tomo y el epilogo 💜

Just as good looking, wholesome and beautiful as the previous ones。 Learning how to move on, defining who we are and finding how to reconnect—or remind—why we had passions on the first place, are some of the topics on this poignant tale of dragons and tea, friendship and kindness。
